Extro Aftershave 1923 100ml
Extro aftershave 1923 was conceived with the idea of accompanying the presentation of the Extrò T Ultra Benz razor, produced in the 1930s by the inventor from Bologna, Paolo Baenzinger.
The fragrance of the aftershave 1923 is inspired by the scents of the early century, chiaroscuro of chypre notes named after Chypre, made in 1917 by the Frenchman Francois Coty.
Characterized by citrus head notes, combined with floral notes, usually rose, with a base of musk and patchouli, they were then skillfully taken up by the Paglieri company, which in 1923 produced the perfume Felce Azzurra, among the first Italian products to challenge the myth of French perfumery.
Compared to the original production, the prevalence of chypre notes in the aftershave 1923 has been reduced, enhancing the fougère component, more modern and fresh, which makes 1923 a unisex fragrance for all seasons.
The perfume opens with head notes warm and enveloping of orange flowers, accompanied by rose, made more nuanced by fougère notes of pine.
Lavender, petit grain, and patchouli are the heart notes that characterize and recall the talc-like chypre scents of the early century. The unique persistence of 1923 is ensured by the percentage of more than 15% of fragrance and by the base notes of musk and neroli.
Like Felce Azzurra that made its packaging its distinctive feature, Extro wanted to create a unique and elegant outfit, with its metal packaging created for the occasion.
