The 1Stone Strop for Straight Razors is made of premium calf leather, offering excellent quality for sharpening straight razors. The full-grain vegetable-tanned leather ensures the best possible performance.
1Stone strops are equipped with a rigid canvas backing, ideal for maintaining the razor’s edge after each shave. The canvas backing serves to realign the carbides of the edge. It is possible to use the strop with the addition of chromium oxide paste (or other abrasive pastes) or without, for quickly reviving the razor’s edge. Subsequently, the leather can be used to further soften the sharpening.
1Stone strops feature an innovative and robust swivel strap fastening system with a pin, allowing a wide diameter of anchoring. Another pin is located on the back, where a leather lace can be attached to hang the strop wherever desired.
