Like all Osma tradition products, this aftershave balm is 99% natural. Floral water of Oak for its toning and astringent properties to reduce irritation to zero. Téflose® (polysaccharide enriched with rhamnose) which acts as a protective coating and inhibitor of bacterial strains on the surface of the skin. By preventing bacterial proliferation, the main factor in odour is eliminated. It is a natural active molecule that in the event of agression has the ability to modulate the inflammatory response providing an immediate soothing effect.
In addition, this after-bath balm contains olive oil to combat skin dryness and protect the skin.

Osma Tradition After Shave Balm 50ml – After shave balm – It comes as a moderately thick non-alcoholic fluid with a white colour and a complex fresh, herbaceous and floral scent with slightly spicy base notes that distinguishes the entire line in a perfect “olfactory continuity” (with the other Osma Tradition products – ed.).
It is packaged in a 50 ml glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottom of the bottle bears the DLUO (Optimal Use By Date), which in this case is 12/2018.
As the manufacturer’s description states, it is composed of 99% substances of natural origin, headed by Téflose®, a polysaccharide enriched with rhamnose, which in turn is an effective and safe sugar for slowing down the phenomena of skin ageing as well as having a rapid soothing effect on irritation.

We now come to the test. As I said, it has the consistency of a not-too-liquid fluid but one of its characteristics is that it absorbs excellently with a short massage. It only takes 3-4 ‘pumps’ to dispense enough to cover the shaved face.
The fragrance is the same as the shaving soap, fresh and herbaceous with floral and spicy notes, and I find it very persistent for a balm … applied in the morning I feel its presence at least until lunchtime. In any case, the scent is discreet and is well suited to be accompanied by an EDT, preferably on similar notes. The effectiveness is at the highest level, it calms any irritation leaving a very soft, supple and perfectly moisturised skin without any trace of grease: just well-being and great comfort.
It is a product that not only acts as an aftershave but also takes care of the skin ensuring the right nourishment after shaving, really very pleasant and effective.
