The aftershave balm is highly moisturising and decongestant. It contains extracts of Lanolin and Aloe Vera. Although it is suitable for all skin types, it is particularly recommended for men with delicate skin for whom shaving generally causes more irritation.
The Battle of Cape Trafalgar, which took place off the southern coast of Spain on 21 October 1805, the year Truefitt started his business, saw a confrontation between the British fleet under the command of Admiral Horatio Nelson, and a much larger fleet of Spanish and French vessels. The overwhelming British victory destroyed Napoleon’s plans to invade England and helped ensure British naval supremacy for many years to come.
